My name is Fiona Henry. I’m an acupuncturist and the owner of Glasnevin Acupuncture. My aim is to help people feel better in their everyday lives — whether that means managing pain, sleeping better, feeling less stressed or finding support with women’s health.

I’ve been interested in health and wellbeing since I was young, but my own experience of acupuncture began when I was having fertility difficulties before my second child. I attended treatments for six months and found the experience hugely positive. I continued with acupuncture during my second and third pregnancies, and it has been part of my life ever since. Over the years, I’ve also brought my children for treatments.

About four years ago, during one of those visits, I was asking the acupuncturist so many questions that he suggested I consider studying it myself. I enrolled and spent three years training with Acupuncture Foundation Ireland, graduating with a Professional Licentiate in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. I loved every bit of it, particularly working with patients during my supervised clinical training year.

Now, through Glasnevin Acupuncture, I’m delighted to offer that same time, care and attention to others.
